There are three important factors on Auto paint chips and scratches repair: Color, Value and Texture. Texture is the most challenging one.

In most cases Paint chips repair on solid colors (colors with no metallic nor pearl) are not a problem. 

Light silver metallic, gold metallic, white pearl can sometimes be challenging.

Dark metallic and dark pearl colors are almost as friendly as solid colors.

People wonder if the paint will look like new after touch up. No, it will not. Only the original factory paint will look like new. 

Even after painting (body shop) an entire panel, very likely will not look like new. There are however a few body shops that will bring the paint to look very close to factory (they usually charge a well deserved price for it).

On every repair we apply a coat of the  base color followed by a coat of clear with harder, wet sand to level the repair and polish it
